Why a blog?

I guess I just have a lot to say. I blame my high-school friend Sandra Ebbinghaus, who never let me get a word in edgewise. And now that I'm all grown up, I have an opinion about everything. So: to save my friends from the same plight I experienced growing up, I will use this as an outlet for things I've always wanted to say. Who knows, you might find some interesting things in all this rambling :)
