Miss Mollie

I have now literally tried them all. All of the wet foods on the market for cats. I have tried every flavor available, and what do you know...my Molliecat doesn't like anything with legs. Just like her mommy. I've tried

• Friskies special diet (not special enough)
• Purina (nope)
• Sheba (named for a queen, yes yes)
• tuna juice (when that stopped, I knew it was bad)
• Gerber's chicken baby food - yeah, she loved that.
• Paws - that worked for a while, I think it's finely ground.
• Paws Ocean Whitefish was her favorite, until it became too hard for her to eat.
• Newman's Own (no!)
• some kinda organic pea stew (she looked at me like I had lost my mind)

Then I tried "a/d"
Grain free
Everything except fat free.


I am just so desperate to get her to hang on until we can get treatment. This is the hardest time of my life. No doubt. I celebrate every time she uses the litter box. I treasure our sweet moments on the balcony together.

And today, I treasure the fact that the catnip in her scratch pad seems to make her comfortable and want to eat.

My sweet girl, my Mollie. My baby who I've known and cared for for 12 years. Since age 22. And what a beautiful time we've had together.

I do not know what the future holds. But I know that we are surrounded by prayers and love. And I shall enjoy every peaceful, cuddly moment we have until the future gets here.
