I Wonder
I do.
I truly wonder...if everyone has the one. The one that mattered...the most.
I wonder if everyone has that one person, who they hoped they would make a difference for; would change their live for the better. And then did.
So, let's be real. Wouldn't it be great if we mattered, and could change others' lives for the good? Well, I, for one, think so. I would like to believe that part of my purpose is to help others become what they only dreamed they could be.
And I think I have met that person. The one who I could inspire and encourage the most. And after years of, say, impacting, he has moved on to bigger and better things. Graduate school. New friends. Better classes. New endeavors.
And I, gently and reluctantly, have to let him go. Because, after all, my job is done.
But, indeed, I wish him well. And there will never...be another. Quite like him.
